 Welcome to the homepage for the Buncombe County Rescue Squad. The squad is a private non-profit organization made up of full time employees who provide ambulance services and volunteers who provide rescue services to the citizens of Buncombe County.

Accepting Volunteers! If you have an interest in becoming a Rescue Technician or Emergency Medical Technician, and have a desire to help the community, apply today! Volunteers are involved in:
- Swift Water Rescue
- Emergency Medical Services
- Search and Rescue
- K-9 Search and Rescue
- High / Low Angle Rescue
- Fire Rehabilitation Stand By
- Medical Stand By for sporting events and festivals
- Bicycle Emergency Response Team
